How to make good use of funding programmes for your own career development

The 3-hours-training provides an overview of national and international fellowships and grants (Marie-Curie, EMBO, HFSP, DFG, Humboldt, DAAD, ERC). In addition, a team simulation game allows for a hands-on preparation of a proposal outline - including evaluation and feedback/tips.

The course is addressed to senior students, especially to those who plan to apply for fellowships and grants in the near future. As the course is a part of the training offered by Dr. Patrice Wegener from Max Planck EU Regional Office Baden-Württemberg to MPI scientists, it is also open to postdoctoral fellows in the institute. This workshop is offered once a year usually in summer.
