During cell differentiation cells make choices of what to become and what not to become. However, cell fate decisions are not always definitive but can also be reversed or redirected depending on intrinsic or extrinsic signals. In my PhD project I want to analyze the differentiation processes of the lymphoid blood compartment on the single cell level and see where and when cell fate decisions are made and how robust or plastic these decisions are.
