Zukunftstag 2016

Zukunftstag 2016 at the Max Planck Institute of Immunobiology and Epigenetics (MPI-IE) as part of the nationwide Girls' Day & Boys' Day initiative. On April 28, 2016 the MPI-IE open its doors to young adults, which are interested to visit the institute and want to learn more about the the exciting world of moderne molecular biology and the profession of a scientist in this field of research.

You are attending 7th till 9th grad and you have a big interest in science especially in modern biology? Come to visit our institute on April 28, 2016. The Max Planck Institute of Immunobiology prepared an exciting program for the Zukunftstag 2016, that brings you in touch with our scientists and shows how we work.

We start the day with short presentation about the the institute and you will attend your first scientific poster presentation to learn more about the research topics at the institute. In addition, you will visit some labs. But of course you also have the chance to do some experiments. In our DNA Kitchen we show you the mysterious craft of a DNA extraction. Further, you will meet our DNA specialists of our DeepSeq-Unit, work on our microsopes with our Imaging-Team and visit our flies.
