Research interestsHematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) are a rare long-lived population responsible for the production of all lineages of blood and immune cells upon stress conditions. Quiescent HSCs have the highest potential and cycle extremely seldom, mostly to help the organism to manage with intense stress such as viral infection or effusion of blood. Our laboratory is interested to understand how distinct dietary habits regulate quiescence of HSCs. During my PhD, I will study the mechanism of this biological process using bioinformatics approaches.
