Katsuhiko Hayashi is a professor in the department of Genome Biology at Osaka University’s Graduate School of Medicine. The research aim of the Hayashi’s group is to understand genetic and epigenetic regulation of mammalian oocyte differentiation using a unique culture system that produces oocytes from pluripotent stem cells. He joins the Special Guest Lecture Seminar Series with a talk on “Understanding mammalian oogenesis through reconstitution of gene regulatory networks”.
