Gonçalo Castelo-Branco is Professor of Glial Cell Biology at Karolinska Institutet (KI) in Stockholm, Sweden, where his lab combines single-cell and spatial transcriptomics and epigenomics with CRISPR-based screens to investigate the molecular and epigenetic mechanisms that define oligodendrocyte lineage cells, and their role in neuroinflammatory and demyelinating diseases such as multiple sclerosis.
