Research interests
The liver is the main metabolic organ, the failure of which can cause a major health burden. Understanding how this organ develops can shed light on new therapeutic possibilities. Despite the significance of the liver development, differentiation and maturation trajectories of liver stem/progenitor cells are incompletely understood. I am interested in resolving the regulatory process in liver formation at single-cell resolution. Using a combination of experimental and computational approaches I plan to create a comprehensive roadmap of liver development.
