Roy R. Parker - RNP Granules and the innate immune response
The biochemist Roy Parker, Distinguished Professor at the University of Colorado Boulder, will join our seminar series on April 26, 2022. If you would like to attend his online seminar (zoom) on “RNP Granules and the innate immune response”, please contact Miriam Gehringer.

Roy R. Parker, biochemist and currently a Distinguished Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry and Cech-Leinwand Endowed Chair of Biochemistry at the University of Colorado Boulder is well-known for setting multiple milestones in the fields of RNA regulation and phase separation, for example, the first description of P-bodies. The Parker lab addresses the regulation of RNA molecules, how that impacts the normal physiology of eukaryotic cells, and how aberrant RNA regulation contributes to human disease. He will join our Max Planck Special Guest seminar series in April 2022 and give a talk on “RNP Granules and the innate immune response”.

The seminar will take place onsite & online. If you would like to attend, please contact: Miriam Gehringer gehringer@ie-freiburg.mpg.de.
