The library of the Max Planck Institute of Immunobiology and Epigenetics (MPI-IE) is a special scientific library which provides literature, scientific information and other media for all employees. The library consists of almost 40,000 Monographs which include many books and bound journals which are to this day not digital.
The collection focuses on the fields of research covered by the different research groups of the MPI-IE e.g. Cellular and Molecular Immunology, Chromatin Regulation, Developmental Immunology, Epigenetics and Immunometabolism. The library also offers various methods for researching and acquiring scientific information. In cooperation with Max Planck Digital Library (MPDL), the library of the MPI-IE gives access to important electronic resources e.g. e-books, e-journals and databases. We also offer support and advice to all employees with literature research, literature requisition, open access publishing, bibliometrics etc.
The library is open at all times for employees.
An introduction into the library services is available for all employees at the Institute. Please contact (also for queries, problems and assistance) Rose Black (Librarian) or Marika Rott (Assistant).
