MOF is a histone acetyltransferase, first identified in Drosophila and later found to be conserved In mammals, associated with the two distinct MSL and NSL complexes. Both complexes have been found to acetylate H4 and are thought to be involved in transcriptional regulation. My aim will be to characterize the role of the MSL complex and its components in the mammalian system, using genomics and transciptomics to answer the given questions genome wide.
