Bioinformatics Galaxy course

The course is offered by the Bioinformatics and Deep-Sequencing Unit at the MPI-IE Freiburg and the Bioinformatics Group at the Dept. of Computer Science, Uni Freiburg. It provides an introduction to the analysis of high-throughput sequencing data using the Galaxy platform. Students learn how to use the Galaxy framework for data management, analysis, visualization and sharing. The focus is on ChIP-seq & RNA-seq data, but also include general aspects of quality control. The course is being modified on regular basis, accordingly to participants’ feedback.

The course is offered 2-3 times a year and has a limited number of participants. It is not restricted to IMPRS-MCB fellows only and interested students have to apply directly with the organizers.
