Max-Planck-Tag 2018

September 14, 2018

On 14th September 2018, the Max-Planck-Tag took place in the auditorium of the University of Freiburg.

70th anniversary of the MPG • 160th birthday of Max Planck •
100th anniversary of Max Planck being presented with the Nobel Prize

The Max Planck Society celebrated these three anniversaries with a Germany-wide Max Planck Day in2018. The Max Planck Day was a huge science festival and is aimed at all who are interested in research performed by the MPG.
#wonachsuchstdu also in Freiburg.

On 14th September, a huge Max Planck evening took place in the auditorium of the University of Freiburg. We invited the interested public to join this event and to learn more about the exciting research at our institute – true to the motto of the day: #wonachsuchstdu (“what are you searching for”).

The evening offers an exciting program giving insights on the history, present and especially the future of immunobiological and epigenetic research at the MPI Freiburg. Learn more about how state-of-the-art basic research contributes to improving tomorrow's diagnostics and therapies. Afterwards, there will be a reception, an exhibition focussing on the history of the MPG and the MPI as well as the opportunity to talk to the scientists.
