Ralf Baumeister – Sending signals from a distance: non-autonomous tumor induction in C. elegans models.

On Friday Science Afternoons at the MPI-IE usually a group leader of the institute presents his or her research to an internal audience. But this time the MPI-IE is pleased to announce Ralf Baumeister, Professor of Bioinformatics and Molecular Genetics at the University of Freiburg. He is C. elegans expert and uses the roundworms for functional analyzes of genes involved in diseases neurodegenerative diseases and genetic regulation of aging. Ralf Baumeister will visit the institute in Friday, March 17th, 2017 (16:15). The talk is entitled “ Sending signals from a distance: non-autonomous tumor induction in C. elegans models.”The talk is open to members of other institutions in Freiburg and surroundings. [more]
