On April 26th, 2018 the MPI-IE open its doors to young adults, which are interested to visit the institute and want to learn more about the the exciting world of moderne molecular biology and the profession of a scientist in this field of research.

You are attending 8th till 10th grade and you have a big interest in science especially in modern biology? Come to visit our institute on April 27th, 2017. The Max Planck Institute of Immunobiology prepared an exciting program for the Zukunftstag 2017, that brings you in touch with our scientists and shows how we work.

We start the day with short presentation about the the institute and you will attend your first scientific poster presentation to learn more about the research topics at the institute. In addition, you will visit some labs. But of course you also have the chance to do some experiments. In our DNA Kitchen we show you the mysterious craft of a DNA extraction.
