Our lab studies the genetics and epigenetics of the nervous system. We investigate neuron-specific RNA signatures and their role in neuronal development and function. Our technologies range from functional Drosophila genetics, behavior studies, and imaging, to RNA biochemistry and transcriptomics approaches. Here are our funding sources.
The Max Planck Society is one of your our main funding sources.
ERC Starting Grant “Mechanism and functional impact of ultra-long 3’UTRs in the Drosophila nervous system”
This project has received funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (grant agreement No ERC-2018-STG-803258).
