Sun Hur joins the Max Planck lecture series. She will give an insight into her research on self- and non-Self RNA Discrimination in innate immunity. Dr. Hur is a professor of biological chemistry and molecular pharmacology and the Oscar M. Schloss Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and is a senior investigator in cellular and molecular medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital. Hannah Uckelmann is Junior Group Leader at the Frankfurt Cancer Institute. Her research focuses on studying the epigenetic regulation of self-renewal programs during cancer development and the discovery of new therapeutics. She and her team are interested in NPM1c-driven leukemogenesis with focus on novel therapeutic therapies in NPM1 mutant AML. [mehr]
