The former MPI-IE research group leader, now Director of Institute of Functional Epigenetics at Helmholtz Zentrum Munich, Prof. Dr. Robert Schneider returns for one seminar to his old work-place in Freiburg. He will give a talk entitled “Chromatin modifications and their role in transcription” on November 13th, 2019 (at 1pm). The talk takes place in the Main Lecture Hall of the MPI-IE. [mehr]

The Bonasio lab is studying the molecular mechanisms of epigenetic memory and is part of the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology and the Penn Epigenetics Institute (University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, USA). Roberto Bonasio will join the Max Planck Seminar series on July 22, 2019 (4pm) and will present on “Epigenetics of behavior and brain plasticity in ants”.
